What is a painterly style? (of a painting or its style) characterized by qualities of color, stroke, and texture rather than of line.
I’m loving the idea of the abstract painting no longer being confined to a frame or a canvas. Covering your walls with these abstract expressions almost gives you the feeling of stepping into a painting and being consumed by the emotion of the artist. You can layer these with pattern on pattern or allow these to stand alone and get all the attention by pairing with quieter neutrals.
