Louis style chairs have always been my favorite for adding a bit of sophistication and a well-traveled look to any space. I think of flea markets in Paris which make me seriously consider hoarding!
Right now, I’m reading A Paris Apartment a book about a Sotheby’s furniture specialist who gets the opportunity to go to Paris and dig through a ninth arrondissement apartment. Inside this apartment are antiques, lots of dust, and paintings that she has to appraise…sounds like my dream job! I just started this book but so far so good, more on that later.
